#PHOTOSHOP FOR MAC 10.12.6 HOW TO#
I have been a Mac user since 1994, an Adobe user since 2002, so yes, I know how to proceed with software incompatibility. I am leaving a few steps and settings out because frankly I'm not sure what I have done, but it is now working 'just ok'. Creative Cloud must be updated fully, and I cannot tell which version of application manager I'm running- but that was a nightmare too.įrom Bridge, I have to state 'open with' even though I have my preferences set to 2015.5. I could not get 2015.5 to work without downloading 2017, but I cannot use 2017. The computer and my whole system has taken a 3 day protest on all the changes.

It was tricky, adobe CC is stubborn about insisting you update and use the 2017. I had to uninstall and reinstall the whole Adobe suite, multiple times over a week while making sure all 2017 Adobe products stayed closed.

However, CC automatically downloaded 2017 and messed up my computer. This is just what I think- don't believe all of what I say- but here is how I've gotten my computers to work. I'm gathering info about Adobe 2017 needs MacBooks to be no older than mid 2015. 2 monitors, BenQ 2700PT, IPS, Before you do anything, save all your presets to a separate hard drive to avoid Adobe from deleting them!! It's like they KNOW where to find those presets, no matter where they are tucked out of site. Setup: Mac Pro (Late 2013, Black Cylinder) Dual AMD FirePro 500 64GB RAM Dual Eizo CX271 27' (Second is Vertical) Wacom Intuos4 XL. This bug was also present under El capitan and it's looged officialy as a bug. still present under Sierra and not removed in the past two PS releases? Here is a better describtion of it: i'm aware that most of the issues are Apple related (except the last one), but i think both developers should try to give us back the flawless workflow from El Capitan:) many thanks! If moved to the second monitor and applied there, the second time the action is repeated the dialogue box appears at the edge of the Primary monitor as close as possible to the original position on the second monitor?. With dual monitor setup any dialogue box would remember the position on the Primary monitor. Dialogue Boxes don't remember position on second monitor. When changing the screen mode (F key) the change from Standard screen mode and Full Screen with Menus, and back from Full Screen to Standard Mode is very slow. Sometimes the key stroke is not even registered and i end up moving some layer:(. Also the same experience whit the cmd space keystroke to zoom in. Slow and jagged keyboard zoom. When zooming using cmd +, cmd -, the tool needs to warm up, the first key stroke is registered only after sime milliseconds and not instantly? The following commands are executed instantly as expected. (not a clean install) i'm working on a daily basis and noticed some differences the first time i worked under the new environment. It was an upgrade over a prefectly working and maintained El Capitan setup. Here my first impressions after changing from El Capitan to Sierra. (Please always state your hardware setup and software versions) p.s. Now that High Sierra is around the corner, i would like to see also similar thread for possible bugs and issues. These people like myself are willing to know if it's safe to move to Sierra.

I know that there are still people stuck with previous Mac OS versions because of their stable workflow or company policies. (currently 10.12.6) Before i switched to Sierra i searched the net for similar threads, but couldn't find any.
